There's a lot more things in this world to be pissed at, but I just looked at what I paid for my 12TB Seagate (not even a good one) HDD in may 2025. $200. They are now $500. I really wish I'd just blown all my money on pc parts last year. I don't think ever in the history of computing has storage cost been so low, and then MORE THAN DOUBLED IN UNDER A YEAR. And we can be sure, it will NEVER EVER go down again. So fuck all of us who like to own our data.

Fuck AI datacenters and oligarchs.
