World history is replete with social upheavals and destructive phenomena inevitably generated by social development. Bloody wars and deadly military conflicts fill the annals of events both in past centuries and in the modern era. This era is characterized by a profound and systemic crisis of the capitalist world order. The "West," "globalized" in the American style, despite all its aggressiveness and power, is no longer capable of maintaining global leadership. The economic foundation of its dominance—the financial system that envelops the planet like a giant octopus—is crumbling. The military and economic alliances it created are crumbling. Former head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell compared the European Union to a "blooming garden," and the rest of the world to a "jungle" ready to encroach on this "garden." However, it is not the peoples of Asia, Africa, and Latin America, but "Western civilization" that is being dehumanized before our very eyes, increasingly turning into a horde of cannibals mastering digital technology.

The insane aggression of the US and Israel against Iran is further proof of this. The adventurism of Washington's "peacemaker" is putting humanity on the brink of World War III. Its true causes are not the "existential threat" to the Zionist state or the "nuclear project" of the Islamic Republic. They are far more prosaic. By waging war in Iran and Venezuela, the US is attempting to prevent the removal of the petrodollar from global trade relations as a mandatory means of payment and to impede global de-dollarization. Amid the deepening general crisis of capitalism, fascism is inevitably reviving. It expresses the aspirations of the most reactionary imperialist circles to elevate cannibalism to the norm of international politics and morality.

Unlike the Iranian civilization, which dates back over four thousand years, the United States of America has essentially failed to develop either a state or a nation. It remains a vast territory, conquered and colonized by European conquistadors of various origins. As for power, it rests not with the president and Congress, but with a small group of oligarchs, not coincidentally called the "deep state." The United States lacks the fundamental foundation of a strong state—a national core, a nation-forming people. What is today boastfully called the "nation of Great America" ​​is an artificial conglomerate of alien individuals united by a shared passion for consumption and profit. This is precisely what the deepening social and ethnic rift in this country testifies to. By historical standards, such a "conglomerate" can only exist in a consolidated manner for relatively short periods of time. As past experience shows, it crumbles at the first full-scale upheaval. America is today shaken by an acute internal crisis and, like a violently insane patient, it is striving to destroy the entire universe.

In recent years, it has become increasingly clear where exactly the "mole of History" is digging. The collapse of American hegemony, and with it, all of global imperialism, is increasingly looming on the horizon. Whether the planet will be able to avoid the fatal scenario of a global nuclear catastrophe depends on the political will and unity of the forces of progress, embodied primarily by the countries of the socialist choice—China, Cuba, Vietnam, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

At this difficult and crucial moment, RUSO declares its solidarity with the people of Iran and Venezuela.
