If the fall of the Soviet Union were to be reversed, would it be the VLTIMATE proof that nothing ever happens, or would it be "something finally happened"?

I mean, the fall of USSR was the biggest happening of the 20th century, if it were reversed, the world would return to being the same, thus proving that nothing ever happens.
