relieved to hear Scream 7 is bad

been rooting against this movie ever since the producers fired Melissa Barrera for being pro-Palestine (which resulted in Jenna Ortega and the director quitting as well)

like I thought Screams 5 and 6 were just okay but at least they were trying to do something new, with talented filmmakers who actually give a shit about making movies. they successfully brought back a franchise which frankly should have died a long time ago, bringing in lots of young fans who didn't grow up with the original movies

but no let's abandon all of that because we love killing children too much. so instead of getting any closure for these new characters we get another pathetic appeal to nostalgia. we lost one of the biggest stars in horror right now so let's bring back Neve Campbell, who only agreed to be in the movie because we paid her a lot of money (wait why am I supposed to give a shit about Sidney from the first movie again?)

fuck this movie and everyone involved in making in it, except for the young actors who actually need the paycheck. I'm hearing it's doing well at the box office, so fuck the fans too for not boycotting this trash. nobody should watch this movie, it's not even worth pirating
