TL;DR:
- There are 17 companies that receive your data if you want Linkedin's blue checkmark, 16 sit in the US and 1 in Canada, none is in the EU
- In addition to your name, selfie, passport photo, Linkedin collects things like your NFC data chip, IP address, device type, MAC address, browser, OS version, location (based in the IP
- Linkedin also tracks whether you pause during the process, and whether you paste information instead of typing it
- They cross-reference you data consumer credit agencies, mobile phone provider, utility companies, ...
- Based on 'legitimate interest' (not consent), Linkedin forwards your data to train bots (Anthropic, OpenAI, Groqcloud)
