This time, French, Czech, Austrian, Italian, and German officials are targeting her over a clearly edited video. This is a blatant smear, typical of Zionist tactics. It’s a coordinated assault on one of the few people in international institutions (like the UN) who is actually doing the job.

Albanese shouldn’t be exceptional. What she’s doing (fulfilling her mandate, upholding international law, centering Palestinian voices) is the expectation for anyone in her position... She stands out because nearly everyone else has abandoned their obligations.

These attacks reveal more about her accusers than about her. When complicit governments try to silence the UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine, they’re admitting they have no legal or moral ground to stand on...
