In the NGO (non-governmental organization) world, the balance between good intentions and pressure to please the people who write the checks is a constant struggle, and in 2026, that struggle is on full display. As the Epstein files spill out into every living room in America, the industry that promised to stop the very thing that the files show irrefutable evidence of has stayed silent - not to protect victims, but to protect their donors, and protect their own political identities.

Having said that, this post is not meant to discredit the large amount of incredible work any of the organizations named on the above slides have done - it’s meant to show that no good deed goes un-poisoned, and that money and politics trump morals.
