Lost my job, might not be able to afford rent next month

I was fired from my job of three years after a few major expenses (traffic ticket, medical bill, recent move) that completely wiped out my savings. The firing was not entirely without cause (attendance issues, mix of tardiness and calling off sick - nothing extreme but they have a zero-tolerance policy) and I might not qualify for unemployment. I got a couple hundred from my family (who are also not doing well financially) to cover food etc. but if I don't manage to find a new job in the next couple weeks (working on it) I might be late on next months rent.

I won't need anything until the end of the month, if at all, and while I don't want to be a "I promise I'll pay you back bro" guy it would weigh easier on my conscience if anyone who does spot me lets me pay them back once I get back on my feet.
