piefed.social's scripting creating problem with android-firefox, when many tabs open: pages essentially lock: nothing works, can't load.

I went through PieFed.social 's main page, opening dozens of tabs for later reading, & then when I tried going into those, they couldn't load, they couldn't display, they couldn't reload, they couldn't work.

Locked-up.

Since this doesn't happen with ANY other site, including lemmy, I'm presuming it to be something in the scripting that PieFed.social puts into the browser?

Anyways, maybe this is something others can replicate, & if-so, then maybe it can get cornered.

( & for all the people out there with the "just update your browser", in android, that's automatic, & frequent. )

here's a method for replicating it:

new instance of android ff

open private-tabs.

open, & login to lemmy.world

open ~50 other-tabs, from their front/etc. pages

open PieFed.social

login

open 100-ish? more? other-private-tabs from the front-ish pages.

Sooner or later then suddenly the images stop appearing on the PieFed front-page ( or 2nd, or 3rd, or whatever, "next" one I was on )

& that is when the PieFed tabs are locked-up.

They don't work, anymore.

I don't know if there's some .. interaction? .. between the Lemmy tabs vs the PieFed tabs,

I don't know if it's because ff is being required to run some javascript framework on every tab & the frameworks required by Lemmy .. somehow break .. the frameworks required by PieFed?

but this has now produced the result several times.

it's sudden, & it's something locking-up, ONLY in the PieFed tabs, but it's affecting, at-least, all of them.
