NYT: Trump issues three conditions to Iran, threatening 'we will strike if you don't accept them'

US President Donald Trump has toughened his threats against Iran, threatening that Tehran could face a "swift and violent" attack if it does not accept the terms offered by Washington. According to the New York Times, the US has conveyed three basic conditions to Iran: a complete cessation of uranium enrichment, a limitation of ballistic missile capacity, and an end to support for proxy forces in the region, especially Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that they did not request direct talks with the US and said, "Diplomacy does not work with military threats." Araqchi warned that a possible war would be long and destructive.
