I'd like to ask for resources concerning the development of imperialism.

Basically what the title says. I want to understand how imperialism has developed since Lenin's analysis. The things that remain foundational to imperialism regardless of time, and the ways it has changed its form during different periods.

I've read Tricontinental's Hyper-Imperialism article, (though I'll be doing a reread by the end of this) which is a good modern overview of the functions of modern imperialism, but I need to understand how it has evolved to thus point and why.

I know I'll be starting out with Lenin's Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitlism and will at some point need to read Nkrumahs Neocolonialism, ending with the Tricontinental article around the end. But I want to know what you read in between these texts to form a better idea of the chronology of Imperialist stages.
