Community-run heatwave havens offer respite for vulnerable residents

Seven heatwave havens in the Eurobodalla Shire are being trialled over the next three days, opening their doors to vulnerable residents.

The volunteer-run community centres have been retrofitted with solar, backup generators and air conditioning to ensure they remain operational during extreme conditions and bushfires.
