The danger of apathy toward the suffering of trans Americans

Americans in 2025 are becoming apathetic toward the suffering of transgender Americans, increasing the subconscious belief in many citizens that yes, what is happening is wrong, but this is just how our society treats transgender people. Developing a subconscious belief such as this about one group of people is a slippery slope and creates apathy toward the stripping of rights by the federal government.
