So I've finally managed to land a decent paying job

Making $28/hr doing drafting and GIS stuff, which is low for the industry, but significantly better than the $5/hr plus tips I was making before. Kinda wild how even at this pay rate my end of month take home is still only in the couple hundred dollars with all the cost of living and rent increases in my area.

I can't imagine trying to live on what I made before now.
