Maduro trying to give up his nation's/people's wealth to avoid war and to change diplomatic stances is painful

The natural resources in the global South are their birthright; they have a right to be enriched by their wealth, not be plagued by it.

We've all seen (or at least those of us who see the people of Iraq as human beings and cared to find out more) what war did to the nation of Iraq; the mass murder of so many people, the terrorizing of their population (what else are you supposed to call the destruction of their nation's vital civilian infrastructure, or the bombing of their weddings and funerals, and the torture and SV humiliation of their people), the economic devastation of their country via the Bremer 100; add on to that the theft of their oil that the people of Iraq were watching happen, KNOWING it was happening but unable to do anything about it except protest in futility. They went through decades of violent horror, and now Trump, with an openly monstrous unleashing of the troops to do as they wish without fear of consequence is about to be Kissinger in chief of the war against Venezuela.

Maduro, despite wanting his nation's wealth to enrich his own people, is being forced to do anything to try and prevent this war but it just won't work; Trump is set on having this war, especially now with the attempted false flag operation. Maduro is openly and publicly trying to avert this war and it's doing nothing.

We're all supposed to hate all these 'dictators' and yet they've been ridiculously reasonable beyond reason. Saddam stopped the production of WMDs a few years after the sanctions program was launched, but it didn't end the sanctions; when the government accused him of building WMDs he allowed investigators in to see for themselves that he wasn't, and even US inspectors also said he wasn't; what was the result? The government breathed a sigh of relief because now they knew Iraq would be able to do little to fight back against invasion.

Maduro is trying to reason with Trump and is even willing to sacrifice his country's wealth and to cut diplomatic ties with frankly more honorable and trustworthy allies just to avert this war, but Trump is set on making this happen.

I hate this so much; Saddam also armed his people to be prepared for war; we are seeing similarities all over again.

The same media ghouls who lied people into the Iraq war are lying us into this one as well, and all those libs who said they learned their lesson from Iraq are falling for it all over again.
