Libs try to assess the likelihood of Russia invading Poland based on "existing historical precedent"

Aside from taking Zelenskyy at face value, as he is clearly just saying anything to rally European support and/or justify direct NATO engagement with Russia, here's their "existing historical precedent"

1618: Poland invades Russia 1634: Poland invades Russia 1667: Russia invades Poland 1735: Russia invades Poland 1772: Russia invades Poland 1792: Russia invades Poland 1794: Russia invades Poland 1831: Russia invades Poland 1864: Russia invades Poland 1907: Russia invades Poland 1921: Poland invades Russia 1939: Russia invades Poland

Man I don't know if I've become more aware or the libs have gotten more reactionary but the .world comms have become completely insufferable since I last visited (about the time lemm.ee went down). I feel like I used to at least get a bit of headway, even if not with the person I directly replied to, but now any materialist view of history that doesn't fall neatly into their rigid and narrow historical vibes is a complete non-starter. Genuine curiosity is frowned upon. No argument required.

This is just straightforward race essentialism, no? There's no other throughline here.

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong comm, I'm just looking for discussion and greater context.
