Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas gives speech through at the UN, claims Hamas will be forced to surrender arms and have no role in governing Palestine

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas sends a video speech to the UN after his entry visa into the US was denied. He demands that Israel cease using starvation as a weapon, but also that Palestine will have its governance rearranged where Hamas will both be banned and forced to surrender arms.

I think most Palestinians hate this guy, right? Is he simply trying to appease the Zionist Entity into letting him keep his job?
