Hot take, but that doesn't necessarily mean they deserve all the hate they get. I don't think bands like Nickelback and Linkin Park deserve even a fraction of that.

Sure, I despise Nickelback's music, but are the guys in the band bad people? Not as far as I know. The current version of Linkin Park does deserve some hate for having a scientologist singer and for hawking NFTs (which people like Tom Morello and System of a Down guy have also done).

I prefer to reserve my hate for bands like Motley Crue and Aerosmith that have members who are abusers and pedophiles. Just making music I don't like doesn't really cut it.
