Mars Tactics

Was looking up games like xcom that are out or will come out soon and found this one with an interesting premise:

The Red Planet is at war. Lead either Capital’s corporate army or Labor’s worker revolutionaries and wage war across a vast strategic map

So there's a war between a striking union and Capital on mars lol. I'm curious what led to them coming up with that premise, but I thought maybe others who have played xcom would be intrigued as well.

E: Just realized it's published by hooded horse, same publishers from Workers and Resources lol, maybe that explains it
