Helping brother-in-law move back with family after eviction ($300 temp loan) EDIT: Friends came to help sorry to bother

As the title says, my brother-in-law and his spouse lost their living arrangements near Chicago after losing their job due to an extended mental health breakdown. I sent him everything I had (I'm fine, I'm using a credit card I'm not supposed to 🙃), but him, his spouse, and my spouse are trying to figure out gas and food for the final leg of the trip.

They had funds from a final paycheck to pay for the trip, but there was some confusion with U-haul, and it turned out the money had to be up front, not several days from now. I feel they're probably going to need more than what my spouse is letting on (seems they haven't eaten in a day or so), so I'm asking for $300 at most. Anyone who sends money will get it sent right back to them by Thursday, and the help is appreciated. Their final paycheck and my normal paycheck both hit on Thursday.
