Dealing with impulsivity on Adderall?

Long story short, I'm in for a talking to tomorrow with my boss because I had some lapses in professional judgment and shot my damn fool mouth off when I really should've just kept quiet and done the thing. I'm currently on my third week of Adderall XR 20 mg and it has been great for focus, mental clarity, and energy, but I feel like it has also been noticeably harder to keep my inside thoughts on the inside and keep my finger off the send button. Should I talk to the doc about reducing the dose or finding a different med?
