“A Franco-Israeli lawyer [Omer Shatz] has filed a case with the International Criminal Court (#ICC), calling for the prosecution of eight individuals for the crime of incitement to genocide: seven current and former high-ranking Israeli government and military officials, and a journalist.“
“Incitement to genocide and genocide are two separate crimes under the Rome Statute, ... The submission argues that incitement to genocide must be independently investigated and prosecuted.”
“The submission was filed by the lawyer Omer Shatz, and compiled with support from a number of law students at the Sciences Po university in Paris.
