Fourteen year olds can consent with other fourteen year olds because they’re similarly developed and there shouldn’t be a massive power indifference like there is between a fourteen year old and an adult rock star.

Legally yea, of course. Do you also think forced rape is the same as consensual statutory rape? That’s the distinction.
Done knowingly, statutory rape is rarely morally different than rape by force or drugs. Or child molestation.
