I’ve noticed that there seems to be an emphasis on being extremely serious at all times, as if every single comment is a PhD dissertation being evaluated or something. There’s like this weird, subtle one upmanship about every little thing and a lot of people are very nitpicky and judgmental. It kind of takes the fun out of being on here, TBH. Or am I the only one experiencing this?

The problem is that the state of Israel is straight up doing the stuff from the conspiracy theories 20 years ago.

Most people here know that the state of Israel and people of the Jewish faith are two different things. It’s like saying that being critical of the Vatican is being Anti-Christian.

Antisemitism is the shield the state of Israel is hiding behind as it does the same heinous shit that was done to the Jews by Nazi Germany.

My view is that antisemitism is a very real issue, but yes I agree with your point that Israel’s current government uses the label of antisemitism to dismiss genuine, non-antisemitic criticism of Israel.

Okay, cool. But you’re doing the exact thing OP is talking about, complaining about Zionism without offering any suggestions, and derailing the conversation.
