    In fact, its sole purpose is to fix one specific bug. That said, if you have encountered this bug, it sounds like it could be pretty nasty - it can basically prevent wired charging on the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 models when the battery is nearly drained, according to the official changelog.

      I guess the definition of „pretty nasty“ is very flexible… but a non functional wireless charger is not on my list of nasty bugs…

        Added emphasis for you, it specifically says wired charging, not wireless.
