    For most people, no. They can just use the stands that came with their monitors.

    But when you’re like me and have 6 monitors in multiple rows? Yeah, you need some more creative mounting solutions similar to this.

    Currently, I have 2 monitors self-supporting on their own stands, 3 monitors on wall mounts that have been screwed into a vertical wooden post, and 1 monitor on a clamp-on pole mount like that one. It gets them where they need to be and works well for my purposes.
