The law only says teachers must come from a native English-speaking country, the big 5: Canada, UK, USA, South Africa and Australia. Twenty yuan says this requirement isn’t from Chinese people, it’s for some school for children of racist diplomats. Beijing is just the worst.

Where did you find this? I spent time at Beijing normal university and never saw anything remotely like this, and that’s a university for teachers specifically.
Wechat served it up. You taught university students. This is for a kindergarten. Usually they’re too cheap and want any qualifying foreign teacher. This one says not only white but female, too. That’s the giveaway.
I was a student there learning Chinese not a professor, they did offer us jobs though and we were ethnically diverse they didn’t discriminate at all
Oh, I see. The student journey in China is a completely different thing. The only jobs allowed for students are internships related to your major. Probably some did work as teachers but it was illegal.
