I just found out that I qualify to use public transit for free in my area.
It’s thus a damned shame I basically never see a bus. I hate driving, but public transit here isn’t much of an alternative.
Still, i’ll probably go ride it around for no real reason just to increase the use of it, since it runs anyway. More riders means more expansion of services, right? Riiiiiiight?
Find a place to eat that is neear the bus route and have a ride and dine party with a bunch of friends that meet up at your place to start the adventure!
I just found that the local bus line in my area runs out past a plaza with one of my favorite restaurants in it. Going to check out the routes and times and see if I can make it work.
Thats a solid point. I don’t have friends in the area to bring into that plan, but no reason I can’t go hang out away from home for the day all the same. I enjoyed the subway when I visited Boston, partly because I didn’t really have anywhere specific I needed to be, just exploration.
