      It’s not quite so simple. First of we don’t elect prime ministers we elect MPs. Second these were not Westminster elections so we’ve elected councillors and MS/MSPs.

      I have no doubt Starmer’s personal ratings had an effect on the overall vote but it won’t have been the only reason for the vote.

      In my neck of the woods Labour need to be careful about blaming their loss on Starmer and not looking at their own record in Cardiff Bay.

      While Starmer shoukd go, its pretty clear the uk punlic have no idea what they want. They want change bit nobody is offering credible options.

      People want less immigrants but more staff at their nhs appointments. More doctors but less taxes. Increased pay wit lower prices.

      Its why populism is taking off with reform. There are no easy answers but most of the big chabges made in the last few decades have been bad for most people. Brexit is the biggest one. Its such a hot potato because people are sick of talking about it. Yet nobody does anything about it. And Farage was an architect of brexit, yet hes the one scooping up the disaffected votes.
