It’s a highly censored centralized point of information, and many use it unfortunately. It’s been a slow burn down to the point where the vast majority of users never comment or post for worry of whether it’s “appropriate” or not. The serious issue with Reddit and Lemmy is the idea of segregated communities, which is why I like this “Just Post” community.
