That right there. That’s why I don’t use Facebook. I used to work there, so I know the kind of stupid fucking kids they hire. I was one of them. But invading people’s privacy like that is disgusting. Absolutely wonderful to know they don’t have systems in place to prevent this.

They should be dealt with in the same manner that we dealt with Ma Bell. I.E fined up the ass and broken up into smaller competitors. Then they should be regulated like broadcast media and forced to block accounts from non democratic countries, and fined heavily for any account/message they let through.
A fine should be a deterrent, not a cost of doing business
I killed my Facebook account in 2020. Everyone else should do the same.
