Explanation: Just being goofy. Spelled is “Comrades” in Russian, a synonym for ‘friends’ that is often associated with leftist movements. FRIENDS, stylized like that, was a popular TV show back in The Day.

Depicted are some major figures of the Communists during the Russian Civil War. I can only identify Lenin (center) and Stalin (just to his left) by sight alone, but apparently it’s:

Yakov Sverdlov, Grigol (Sergo) Ordzhonikidze, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin, Mikhail Kalinin, Felix Dzerzhinsky.

it’s from a thread on askreddit in february of 2020, titled “what are some ridiculous history facts?

          user Tsquare43 posted

Hitler, Stalin, Trotsky, Freud, and Tito were all living in the same area of Vienna in 1913.

someone responded with the opening bars to the friends theme, and 50 meme comments later, /r/comradesshow was born. they got pretty far, too. got a few scripts done and set up a crowdfunding thing. which failed, of course.
