I opened a project file that I created under Windows 10, and a font was missing: Verdana Pro.
Found it on the Microsoft Store and installed it. It’s available in all normal programs like LibreOffice Writer now, but I need the font files themselves so I can use them in Blender.
All fonts in Windows versions before 11 were accessible in C:\Windows\Fonts. But now it’s nowhere to be found.
Update: Solved by reading the changelog of today’s update to Blender. It supports fonts installed for the user, besides the system fonts.

The software that needed the file got an update today. And one of the new features is that it can find fonts installed for the user. But it’s not automatic and not as straightforward. That’s why I haven’t seen the font when I tried it before reading the complete changelog of the update.
Yes, it sees the font in the hidden folder.
