    Plugless hybrids are ICEs that need more resources to be produced. They are a marketing lie.

      They’re more fuel efficient, the electric motors reduce wear and tear on the ICE and mean you can have a smaller ICE. They’re a significant step forward from pure ICE.

      Eh. My Prius is almost 20 years old. I’d rather keep driving it than buy a new vehicle, even if the new vehicle took less resources to produce. I’m well past the break-even point.
