oh this reminds me, I remember basically living off egg and cheese croissants when my son was a toddler. It took him a really long time to like bread(s). I dont know why, but he’d always hand me back the croissant part, and Id be happy to have it. They made a mess though. He eats bread now, but still thinks coissants are too messy.
