Good for them! I wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t been spending an unhealthy amount of time lurking on r/politics circa 2017 and hearing people talk about Chapo Trap House in the comments occasionally. Sometimes a lib accusing a poster of coming from there, more often a CTH poster finding someone in the comments and telling them they’d find a like minded community.
Same. /r/CTH getting x-posted into my feed is what exposed me to the concept of socialism and communism. I was a Bernie-style lib up until the second half of 2019 when I realized you could go further left, and that communism wasn’t evil.
