If they don’t do whatever the European equivalent of TACO is, this will drastically change the landscape of the digital world.

It’s great that the French government is adopting a sovereign office suite, but sensational, misleading headlines and thumbnails aren’t helpful.

Palantir needs to be outlawed, their data destroyed, and all the executives tried for treason, crimes against humanity, conspiracy to commit crimes against humanity and hanged.

Can we start with the hanging?

          By their entrails?

          On live television?

Live TV? OK a bit old fashioned, but we livestream it, too.

We could make a game show of it, too. Called ‘Cause of Death’. How it works is you do a hanging via strangulation and not neck breaking and you have someone who is a poor marksman volunteer to fire a few rounds at the palantir exec. Then they wait until vital signs go flat for a few minutes.

Then we take bets on the cause of death. Was it the gun shots? Or the hanging? A live autopsy shows the results.

He has been leading in polls for a long time now. It looks like a good chunk of the British people are confident that after neoliberal austerity and national self-isolation have failed to improve their lives, a good dose of corrupt Trumpy fascism will save the country. And in the face of this Starmer is determined to pave the way and make the eventual fascist takeover as easy as possible.

I’m not English and I don’t live in the UK. I also don’t follow the British news specifically. I thought he was doing alright by what I picked up left and right, even though that wasn’t much.

Sad to hear that’s the direction it’s headed for in the UK.

            Thanks for the insight!

Well given the Starmtrooper you’ve got as PM, I guess people are saying “why settle for the lesser evil?”

The problem isn’t and never has been Trump.

The problem is Americans and the deep cultural rot they’ve allowed to set in. Trump is a symptom of the USA’s problems, not the cause.

Trump is, at least, and quite inadvertently, a friend to the world, however. Because of him the rest of the world got to see the USA’s real face and is now doing the right thing: disengaging.
