Venezuela has 5,000 Russian-made anti-aircraft missiles in “key air defense positions,” its President Nicolás Maduro claimed on Wednesday, amid growing tension over the United States’ military deployment in the Caribbean.
I’m hoping the US doesn’t invade Venezuela, though I am concerned they will as some sort of imperiast lashing out before it falls in a decade or two. It seems similar in concept but not scope of the US trying to provoke a war like they tried in the years since the Ukraine’s Euromaiden coup to provoke war with Russia.
