Do they tho? This is a poll/survey asking the users, not actually looking at what they are using. All the people I know use either the default option provided by the device or os vendor, ie Apple, Microsoft, Google, or maybe Dropbox for work because it’s their company’s choice. Aws or google cloud for cloud computing. I’m very privacy conscious and honestly could not name a European cloud provider even if my life depended on it on it.
Also, if I have to chose a government peeping into my data I might prefer the farthest one…
Hetzner, Mailbox, Ionos, OVH, Infomaniak(well, they are swiss), there are tons.
And at least in my sector (healthcare) it is a huge topic atm,especially surprising is that a lot of smaller clients are currently reaching out to us regarding that topic.
I work in banking and cloud privacy it is hot, especially with AI learning becaming a real threat now.
