There is no endgame, at least not for Trump. This is just the latest shiny debacle that caught his attention.

Some of his cronies might have more long-term plans, but they’re not any smarter than him, so it doesn’t really matter what their plans are. They’ll stumble into the same shit-for-brains course of action that their toddler-in-chief would with no plan at all.
