      He’s just an idiot, this is not news.

      I do suspect that this was at least some of the thinking behind Ukraine paying such a heavy price to take some Russian territory. Just for the propaganda value of:

      “Well you have to be realistic and let us keep what we stole”

      “Sounds good, as long as we can keep what we stole, too”

      “(buffering) … (garbled yelling) IT DOESN’T WORK THAT WAY HOW DARE”
