      Isn’t the average savings of Chinese citizens around 30%? I heard that from a liberal marketing streamer (Atrioc).

      If that really is the case, I’m incredibly jealous. Especially when 60% of Americans are living pay check to pay check.

    What even is a minimal standard of living? I’m poor af and i can’t afford a lot of stuff, but i also feel like when these types of media outlets talk about stuff like this they’re talking about consumerism not survival.

      The analysis, from the Ludwig Institute for Shared Economic Prosperity (LISEP), looks beyond whether people can afford daily necessities like food and shelter to consider whether they have the means to pay for things like the technology tools necessary for their jobs, higher education, and health and child care.
