I mean I am AFAB and I do identify as a girl but also I don’t feel entirely binary. I guess I wasn’t assigned Nonbinary at birth but it still feels weird to say I’m trans when I’m AFAB and present and act like and call myself a girl. I don’t know, help me out here people.

That’s a great point. I honestly like the trans flag very much and I’m probably going to use it and wear it since it’s cute and will make other people feel comfortable but will probably use the label strategically to avoid confusion with others thinking I’m a different kind of trans than I actually am. It seems my fear of being seen as appropriating is probably overthought as well.
