    The AUR requires an AUR helper like paru or yay to interact with it that way. Otherwise you can clone the repo using git and make the package yourself.

      helpers make life easier, yes, but they’re not a requirement at all.

      But helpers are not found in official repositories, they’re in the AUR, so OP will still need to understand the very wiki article that tells them how to build a package from AUR.
