As revolutionaries, we don’t have the right to say we are tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We know that when the people understand, they cannot help but follow us.

Recently, the r/TheDeprogram subreddit was threatened with banning by Reddit admins. I got the go-ahead to mirror the subreddit wiki on lemmygrad in case. I have made a few formatting changes to better suit Markdown formatting and corrected a few typos. Full credit goes to the original authors of the wiki.
Can’t believe it’s gone. The subreddit was instrumental in getting me organized and educated. I used this wiki so much. Thank you for bringing it over. I would have been crushed had it been lost.
Comrade, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Your help and past efforts are extremely appreciated and helpful right now, thank you!
In the following days I will make sure to add and link everything you’ve backed up in a way that makes it easy to find
Are you adding them to Prolewiki? If you want, I can send you the raw markdown files. I have them stored on a personal archive
If not, I guess I’ll try applying to be a Prolewiki editor again. I just don’t like the entire backup wiki being my posts because no one else can add to them.
Thank you for the offer of the raw markdown files. Good question! I checked the page of the Deprogram podcast on Prolewiki and I saw that now users can make smaller edits without being an editor. However I’m unsure if it’s the same for larger edits 🤔
Maybe we can ask @CriticalResist8@lemmygrad.ml or check with the editors over at c/Prolewiki for their opinions on how to proceed
I’ve been thinking about this for the past couple days, it would be possible to create a Portal on prolewiki to host the deprogram wiki but imo it would only thin out the information. E.g. instead of having one yeonmi park page there would suddenly be two containing different information, and it wouldn’t be clear to the readers that there are two, and what makes them different and which one they should read.
Instead I think what makes the most sense is to consolidate main wiki pages and incorporate the content from the deprogram wiki - I love the style and some of the info we don’t have yet. You can make any sort of edit on “main” pages (pages not preceded by a namespace) but it’s easier for us to approve them if they’re smaller. Since a while back you can also create new pages, we stealthily added that.
To get started we have guidelines: https://en.prolewiki.org/wiki/ProleWiki:Editorial_guidelines
And a user guide to use the editor: https://en.prolewiki.org/wiki/ProleWiki:User_guide
MediaWiki uses its own code markup so markdown won’t work but it may be possible to copy the markdown output (that is the text that’s already formatted, not the markdown code) and paste in the visual editor. AI can also change the markup easily.
I appreciated the detailed reply:) I was thinking about what you said and indeed having too many pages about the same topic would likely only add unnecessary confusion and it may not make much sense in the context of an online encyclopedia.
But I was also thinking about the main goal of the deprogram wiki, which would be sort of a short list of bullet points and online videos/resources to use as a starting point for people who might be just beginning to deprogram themselves (or people who maybe have only listened to the podcast or watched a couple of videos from the trio).
I saw the ProleWiki absolute beginner reading list and it gave me the idea for this: since the main page of the deprogram is about the official podcast itself, I’m unsure whether it would make sense to add our unofficial wiki right there. But we could absolutely link it there for people to find.
From that hypothetical landing page (that might resemble something similar to the guide to organizing ), we could then link to the Main pages, where we can incorporate the information and links from the old deprogram wiki.
Would that make sense in the broader context of ProleWiki? What is your opinion on this?
I think it would totally be possible to list pages on topics that have been discussed on the show, though I checked the stats and the deprogram page itself on prolewiki doesn’t get a lot of visits, pages for the individual members get a lot more. It’s like a 10-to-1 difference for the entire year of 2025. The difference might also be explained by google rankings.
This would then take a bit more work but it would be possible to flesh out the page with the list of episodes and a quick list of the topics they talked about in it with blue links. That might be one possibility.
To be honest I’m not even sure about what pages we have lol, there’s too many for one person to know. If you have more ideas don’t hesitate to send them my way and I can look into it. I know that some editors have started incorporating your wiki into our pages.
Oh wow, that’s quite the difference in views! I’m guessing people are much more familiar with their individual videos than they are with their podcast (this was actually an inside joke in the sub too lol) so they look for their individual pages directly.
It’s not a bad idea at all to have a quick list of topics for the podcast episodes! But it would indeed be a bit more work, so I might have to wait to do that when I have a little more time.
Of course haha there are definitely far too many pages for a single person to know! Maybe at this point I could post directly on c/Prolewiki to ask the editors for their feedback.
I will keep thinking about this over the next days then and will remember your kind offer
If I remember correctly you can make small edits without an account, but making new pages requires an account.
Thank you comrade

Thanks for porting this over!
No problem. Will Lemmygrad get its own wiki feature eventually, or should I post these on Prolewiki and link from there instead?
