usa customers See €28 Billion Hit From Trump’s Steel and Aluminum Tariffs

It’s pretty clear that it’s hurting both customers in the US and former suppliers in the EU.
but it seems that the usa is doing a lot to convince us, that we should build things with that steel for ourselfs.
That should’ve been obvious decades ago.
from the germans perspective i think the biggest issue was, that we hoped we have to never ever ramp up our military again.
If Germans didn’t follow the US pied piper into oblivion then there still would be no need for that.
