For me it’s the Batteries Regulations.

It includes things like:

  • Replaceable batteries that is “easy for consumers to remove/replace” in devices like smartphones, tablets and cameras by 2027.

  • Recycling “of critical raw materials such as cobalt, lithium and nickel” in batteries will be prioritised and developed further by 2025.

Let me hear yours. It can be anything, and also regulations from the past which came into effect in 2023.

    Certain AI uses should be heavily regulated.

    The cat is out of the box, if the EU heavily regulates AI this won’t stop anyone, it will just cause these systems to build outside of the EU where regulation is either less restrictive or it’s even encouraged .
