Israeli media reported on Sunday on a “tough incident” involving soldiers in South Lebanon.
In detail, Israeli occupation soldiers entered a minefield near Ras al-Naqoura on the border with Lebanon, resulting in a landmine explosion and causing several casualties.
According to the media, the explosion in Ras al-Naqoura involved members of the 146th Brigade, leading to the killing of one soldier, three others sustaining serious injuries, and several others with varying degrees of injury.
This comes as Israeli occupation’s warplanes have been continuously flying over South Lebanon at low altitudes, adding to its long list of violations of the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported.
Earlier in the day, two civilians were reportedly martyred in an Israeli drone strike on a house in the town of Dibbin in the Marj’youn district.
On Saturday, Israeli airstrikes killed six people in southern Lebanon, marking a significant escalation just 10 days after a ceasefire between Hezbollah and “Israel” took effect.
