Seems likes it’s probably another bio based plastic. But it claims to be home compostable and not release any micro plastics, so maybe it really is benign. Before plastic, candy was wrapped in treated paper, maybe it’s more similar to that?

Is this truly without any plastics? Afaik the wood based stuff still has a tiny bit of plastic inside of it.

My worry is that plastics landing in a compost are going to be more of an issue than plastics ending up being upcycled.
