Here is the thing: several months ago, I stopped trusting news organizations fully(for non-investigative reports) and started looking for the first source directly, instead of just trusting the organization reporting.

Partially, because what happened in the COVID days and mostly because of how much misinformation happening in the tech, economy, politics, business journalism and shitty framing.

I actually did not share or consider a good amount of news reports, because I couldn’t find the original source for the reporting. Which made me unable to verify the claims and made me dismiss them.

Which make me ask, am I alone in this or does the general population distrust journalists too?
